ARTICLE VI: MEETINGS

      Section 1: Number of Meetings
         a. There shall be regular meetings. The time and place shall be decided by the membership at each preceding regular meeting.
         b. Other meetings may be called to coincide with events such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic surgeons annual meeting.

      Section 2: Composition of Regular Meeting
         a. The regular meeting shall consist of an Executive Committee meeting, two business sessions, and a scientific session.
         b. At the first business session of the regular meeting, the slate of candidates for office shall be presented by the Nominating
         Committee, and floor nominations shall be taken. Candidates for membership shall be presented by the Membership Committee,
         and any proposed changes in the bylaws shall be presented.
         c. At the second business session election of officers and new members and voting on proposed bylaw changes shall be conducted.
         Additionally, members of the Nominating and Membership Committees shall be elected. The time and place of the next regular
         meeting shall also be chosen at the second business session.
         d. Social events shall be planned and carried out by the Chairman. Spouses shall be included in the social events.

      Section 3: Voting
         There shall be no absentee voting.

      Section 4: Quorum
         A quorum shall consist of two ­thirds of the voting 0be filled by the Chairman except as specified in Article V, Section 5
         of these bylaws.

      Section 4: Meetings
         a. The Executive Committee shall meet prior to the first business session of the regular meeting.
         b. Special meetings may be called by the Chairman.

      Section 5: Quorum
           A majority of the members of the Executive Committee shall constitute a quorum.
